The most notorious killer in business is when a company stops innovating. When you are strictly only focused on the logistics of the business at hand and not thinking of new ideas, brainstorming and being creative to bring something to the table, you're not only going to be passed, but interest in your services and/or wares will come to a screeching halt.
As a business owner, allow yourself time in your day or in your week to be creative with ideas that circle back to what you're doing now. Super important: allow your staff and your team to have a weekly think tank and to be creative so that they too can circle back to what they're bringing to the table. It takes a village to raise a child…and a business!
Have a meeting each week or every other week where you let your team discuss their ideas and concepts on how they can improve the current business or product and also potentially create new ones. This keeps things fresh, alive, moving, and exciting and fosters continuous momentum.
Your clients, customers and buyers will feel the innovation and you, your team and your business will reap the rewards. Until next time...
